The Robotics Association Taiwan (ROBOAT) was founded in March 2007 to meet the growing demand on industrial activities and to promote the cooperation and the development of the robotics industry in Taiwan. To integrate the strength and power of related industries such as machinery, electronics, information etc., the ROBOAT acts as a platform for information exchange such as robot technologies and for alliance with different industries, as well as accelerating the development of the related robotics industry.
ROBOAT has a total of 50 members and offers three different categories. of membership. ROBOAT is also the organizer of Taiwan’s main robotics event – Taipei International Robot Show (TIROS).
