TIROS 2010, one of the major international robot exhibitions in Taiwan. It offers an outstanding platform for Taiwan's robotics industries to expand home and foreign robotics markets, information interaction and marketing. Robotics related companies can get up-to-date information either from domestic or international. To exhibit in TIROS, you can enlarge global vision and create market opportunities to bring the biggest value.
TIROS is organized by Industrial Department Bureau (IDB), Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) and Robotics Association Taiwan (ROBOAT) annually. TIROS will invite the major players of robotics industies around the world to join this event. It will also hold lots of events in parallel of the exhibition, such as robotics contests, seminars and conferences. During this show, industry leaders, experts, and researchers will gather together to share their insights toward the robotics industry, and also the current and future trends about this industry. IROS 2010 will be held simultaneously during TIROS 2010.
The strengths of Taiwan's robotics industry is that Taiwan owns the comprehensive industry supply chain and this guarantees manufacturing flexibility. Compared to other countries, Taiwan's robotics industry has the cutting age of entering this market at a fast pace. In order to foster and expand robotics industry, Taiwan's government launches four strategies to boost the industry:
1. To accelerate the development of technology of key modules
2. To speed up commercialization of robotics products
3. To bring the products to international market
4. To expand the experts in the robotics industry
Taiwan's government also sets the goal of being the robotics design and manufacturing center in the world in 2015 and creates the values of NT 1,500 billion. According to statistics from IDB, Taiwan's robotics related companies have been investing total amounts of NT 150 billion in the intelligent robots field. We can expect the high-speed development of robots industry in the near future.
The exhibits at TIROS can be divided into two categories: Industrial robots and Service robots. Industrial robots can be further divided into robots arm, robot equipment; automation equipment, controller, the components of industrial robots. Service robots include clean, security, educational, entertainment, life assistance robots, and robots parts.
Robotics Association Taiwan is organized by experts who concern about Taiwan's robotics industry from different fields. As one of the major Taiwan's robotics organization, ROBOAT held the 1st and 2nd session of TIROS successfully and received very positive feedback from visitors and exhibitors.
ROBOAT sincerely invites you to participate in TIROS 2010 to push Taiwan's robotics industry to arrive on global stage.
